EVOC TRIPS

THE SEARCH FOR THE BEST TRAILS AND POWDER LINES

For many years now we have been traveling the world, always looking for the perfect trails and powder lines. In the process, we've discovered countless great places and ridden many awesome runs.

But finding the right gear wasn't always easy - the market just didn't have the backpacks and bags we were looking for.

So we started developing our own gear; gear that met our needs: high-quality, well thought-out products with clever features. The idea to create EVOC was born when more and more people asked for our gear.

MULTICOLOUR - THE COLOURS OF TRAVELLING

In 2019, vivid travel memories previously stored in our luggage will take to the road in all their glory: on our recent mountain bike road trip to the best trails in Mexico, we have experienced the most beautiful landscapes. The unique hues of those landscapes serve as inspiration for our brand-new MULTICOLOUR EDITION.

TRAIL EXPLORING // LIGURIA

Now, is that good or bad? The clouds have meanwhile become so thick that I can no longer see how far the drop right next to me is. Well, it’s definitely deep enough not to hear the rock I’ve just dislodged hitting the ground at the bottom. The trail which has been carved into the rock face is just about wide enough for me and my bike, and thank goodness for the steel rope that seems to be firmly anchored in the rock, but which disappears further ahead in the thick fog.

Mission Sveit // ICELAND

Amazing lights, incredible landscapes – and an incredibly intense smell of fish. It feels like a mixture of old chewing gum and dried out toothpaste in my mouth and the taste is like very, very, very old Munster cheese dipped in fish sauce.

SQUAWK // A TRIP TO LOFOTEN

Since the entire Legs Of Steel crew was involved in the biggest ski film project ever last year (“Passenger”), it was plain that Paddy and I would be making another banger trip in 2016: into the north of Norway, to Lofoten!

VIETNAM VELOCITY // BIKEPACKING

It’s mid-December when my phone rings and Marketing Manager Jan Sallawitz asks if I would like to travel to Vietnam in January for a photo shoot of the new EVOC CC. I’m speechless. Me, in Vietnam, as a model? But then again, opportunities like this don’t come along often! I agree spontaneously, without knowing what to expect.

ECUADOR

IFEN

Almost like a slanted Table Mountain, the Hoher Ifen towers above the Kleinwalsertal valley. At a height of 2229 m, it is not exactly a giant, but its particular shape makes it really special. For years we have been dreaming of climbing it and this year everything finally seems right.
