Being welcomed by wild horses in the sunrise at Port de Pailhères during Transpyrenees 2022 was so cheesy!
I love to see the transformation of landscapes and cultures as I cycle, and the sense of achievement that comes from reaching both physical and psychological goals through my own effort. Also, during ski-touring and bikepacking, I love the part of problem-solving!
Although I’ve already spent a lot of time in the Pyrenees, I’d likely go back. There’s no other place where you can conquer so many rugged mountains on your bike in such a short time!
